Welcome to the Guernsey Society for Physically Disabled People at the Ron Short Centre, Beau Sejour, Guernsey.
We are the Guernsey Society for Physically Disabled People based at the Ron Short Centre, Beau Sejour an we are committed to providing invaluable support to Bailiwick residents of all ages who have physical, mobility and sensory disabilities. We also offer support to visitors who require our services while staying in Guernsey.
Our hardworking team of staff and volunteers, together with the Ron Short Society committee members, work tirelessly to ensure that people using the Centre have access to all the support and provisions they need.
Centre timetable
Our sheltered workshop for an average of 20 disabled people is open on four days each week. The members receive skills tuition enabling them to prepare items such as flower arrangements and jewellery for sale in the charity shop. They enjoy doing paid work for various local organisations which support the centre’s activities.
