This year 2017 is the 40th anniversary of the opening of the Ron Short Centre at Beau Sejour and we celebrated with an Afternoon Tea Party for the people who use the centre and invited guests. Photographs to coming shortly.
We rely on donations and sponsorship to fund the Centre’s running costs and projects. With the generous support of volunteers, donors and sponsors, we can help improve the lives of local people with disabilities.
We have a fleet of specialised mini-buses that are used to pick up and return home any Centre members who need transport.
Helping other organisations
Our buses can be used to assist other organisations and individuals on request, including disabled persons on holiday in Guernsey. We also offer our Centre to other organisations to use for their AGMs, activities, meetings etc. by prior arrangement. For more information about using our buses or space at the Centre, simply email ronshort@cwgsy.net or phone 01481 724333.
